Room At The Inn Warrington Room at the Inn Warrington opened on 1st December 2010 to provide emergency short term housing to homeless people in Warrington. After the closure of the YMCA, the volunteers, workers and homeless who’s lives were maintained by the YMCA could only turn to the Y-Project and Room at the Inn. The aims: To prevent Street Homelessness to engage with rough sleepers To assist people who have become homeless to link with relevant services To prevent hardship and enable people to move on to more settled accommodation To bring people relief and an opportunity for recovery To encourage dignity and respect To remind the public that these are People first and Homeless afterwards We provide daytime support and information services for vulnerable and homeless people to improve their quality of life. This includes 10 beds, food, warmth, help with reading and writing, grief management, empathy and encouragement. This is a truly remarkable chairty with alot of fantastic people behind it.
