Sankey Valley Park Sankey Valley Park is a public park in Warrington, Cheshire. It occupies part of the Sankey Valley and the main park itself covers over 1½ miles between Sankey Bridges and Callands. The valley follows the course of Sankey Brook and the now disused Sankey Canal. The park is enjoyed by walkers, cyclists and anglers The central section of the park is family orientated with children’s play features, a maze and lawned areas. Bewsey Old Hall sits on the edge of the central section of the park and RAF Burtonwood lies one mile (1.6 km) to the west. The Trans Pennine Trail passes around 500yd from the southern tip of the park.

Walton Gardens Walton Hall, the former home of Lord Daresbury is an Elizabethan style mansion, set amidst tranquil parkland. Walton Garden The grounds offer a breathtaking photographic setting at any time of year with rhododendrons providing a blaze of colour during spring and summer and later as the trees take on autumnal shades, golden leaves carpet the manicured lawns during autumn and early winter. The Hall is ideal for weddings, family celebrations, seminars, presentations and business meetings. Carefully restored and refurbished, the interior boasts antique furniture, Victorian paintings, oak panelled hall, grand staircase and high gilded ceilings producing a warm and inviting atmosphere, much as it did for the guests of Lord Daresbury over a century ago. At Walton Hall we have four function rooms arranged over two floors for either day or evening events. The Hall is also available for exclusive use for weddings. The park has a children’s play area, children’s zoo, pitch and putt, crazy golf, bowling and a coffee shop (some attractions are seasonal).
